El arresto: c\u00f3mo empieza el proceso<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Todo suele comenzar con un <strong>arresto por parte de ICE<\/strong>, que puede ocurrir:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>en una redada,<\/li>\n<li>durante una cita de inmigraci\u00f3n,<\/li>\n<li>despu\u00e9s de una interacci\u00f3n con la polic\u00eda local,<\/li>\n<li>o incluso a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de haber entrado al pa\u00eds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En muchos estados, la colaboraci\u00f3n entre autoridades locales y federales permite que <strong>una detenci\u00f3n penal menor active una detenci\u00f3n migratoria<\/strong>, incluso si los cargos penales se desestiman.
